Since her childhood in New Mexico, Dr. Amanda Wilson knew that her passion and care for animals would ultimately shape the rest of her life.
After earning her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2012, Dr. Wilson has devoted herself to ensuring every animal has access to the care it needs.
She has been involved in small and large animal practices throughout Colorado, New Mexico, and internationally, and she brings this diverse experience to provide your pet wth the best veterinary care available.
Dr. Wilson's primary clinical interests, which reflect her expertise and the range of services she can provide, are animal behavior, soft tissue surgery, and clinical pathology.
In her free time, Dr. Wilson enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, and snowshoeing.
She would like to find a few other activities as well, so she is excited to be in Colorado along with her three dogs and two cats.

After moving from Westminster to 14 miles east of Pueblo we continued to drive back to N. Colorado for our veterinary needs. We finally realized we needed a local vet. After interviewing a number of vets and clinics, we met Dr. Wilson. From the first moment, she impressed us with her up-to-date veterinary knowledge as well as her calm and pleasant demeanor. Subsequently, we took our two special needs dogs to her for their routine check-ups. They were both being seen by vet specialists in Colorado Springs as well. Soon, those vets felt that Dr. Wilson was more than capable of managing their special care needs. She has always been responsive and follows up after appointments to ensure that her “patients” are doing well, as well as making herself available for follow-up questions.
